AS YOU WISH |
|
We purchased this boat with the intention of doing some extensive sailing along the entire eastern seaboard, but more immediately, cruising the Maine coast and Nova Scotia. Life circumstances have presented us with a few options we had not anticipated so we are offering her for sale, along with the mooring, and a dinghy.
Details-
We have done a fair amount of work on her in the past 2 years. Replaced the balsa core on the foredeck with cousa board. The resin work still needs some faring out and paint, but it does not affect the sailing. We rewired most of the mast, all brightwork is redone, new docking lines, rebuilt the windlass, new forestay, and all port lights replaced, but as with any 50 year old vehicle, she needs more..The motor is a Universal m25 20 horse 3 cylinder diesel that runs well. Batteries hold a charge. We have 2 new thermostats, one to install in the spring and one for backup. New docking lines too.
